Our representative will escort you to the hotel. After a traditional Indian welcome at the reception, check in and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Later, move for a half day city sightseeing tour of Cochin. Visit Vasco Da Gama Square, Santa Cruz Basilica, St. Francis Church, VOC Gate, Bastion Bungalow. Day 2: Kochi Overnight stay at Brunton Boatyard After breakfast at the hotel, go on another day of sightseeing. En route, enjoy the scenic countryside - misty hills covered in spice plantations, traditional quaint villages, waterfalls and green meadows. On arrival in the elephant playground set along the longest and only perennial river in the South, check in at the hotel and relax on your overnight stay in Periyar. Day 4: Periyar Overnight stay at Spice Village After breakfast at the hotel, you can explore Periyar National Park on a boat cruise on the Periyar Lake. Later, take trek to the spice plantations and tea estates. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Periyar. Day 5: Periyar - Kumarakom - Alapuzzha - Houseboat Overnight stay at Houseboate After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Kumarakom. A small town on the eastern shore of Vembanad Lake, Kumarakom is famous for its pristine beaches and gorgeous backwaters. On arrival in Kumarakom, visit the bird sanctuary and proceed to Lake Vembanad. Once here, check in at the houseboat for a backwater cruise to remember for a lifetime. Enjoy the authentic flavors of Kerala aboard the houseboat as you merrily drift through the backwaters of Kumarakom and reach Alapuzzha.
